Hello Ladies, February's book is "Homer & Langley" by E.L. Doctorow, but don't worry, unlike most of Doctorow's other historical novels, this one is under 200 pages. It's his view of the lives of the Collyer brothers, famous 19C Park Avenue recluses. (Google them for fun)It was recently available at Borders on the two books for one price table. Johanna
I'm sorry I won't be there to share in the book discussion, catch up with everyone and answer any questions about the blog, my son flies in Wednesday night to celebrate a late Christmas.
Hello All, I am not going to do Unbroken for April, although I highly recommend it. I have it if anyone would like to borrow it. It is very uplifting, but you have to get through a lot of abuse in the POW camps. I do have a copy if anyone would like to read it. I plan to share The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver
